Thomas W. Dube, Sr. Obituary

Thomas W. Dube, Sr., 60 passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 28, 2019. He was the beloved father of Thomas W. Dube, Jr., Megan E. Dube, both of Providence, and Erin M. Dube of Cranston; Papa ‘aka Bubba’ of 6 grandchildren, Tayla, Karissa, Aria, Aiden, Thomas, III, and Isaiah Dube. He was the beloved son of Helen M. (Kelly) Dube of No. Providence, and the late Thomas J. Dube. He was the brother of Patricia J. April (Bruce) of Cranston; and the uncle of Ashley E. Fratus, Jordan M. Fratus and Dylan S. April, whom he adored. Tom was employed by the City of Providence for 19 years in the Public Works Department as an Environmental Specialist. He thought highly and spoke often of his buddies from work. He was a graduate of LaSalle Academy, class of 1977. Tom was quick with a joke, had an infectious laugh, loved music, and could capture anyone by his ability to sing. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox, and loved spending time at Blue Shutters Beach in Charlestown.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 11 am in St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Ave., Providence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38148 will be appreciated. Visiting hours, respectively omitted.
