Stephen Chase Obituary

Stephen P. Chase, 54, died Wednesday, January 31, 2018. A lifelong resident of Warwick, he was the beloved son of Patricia A. (Pryor) Chase and the late Milton A. Chase. Stephen was always mechanically gifted. He had been employed as a welder at Amtrol for 10 years and had formerly worked at Overhead Door in Warwick. He was a loving son, brother, uncle and friend. A selfless man who never wanted a thing from anyone but always offered to help or do anything for anyone who needed it. He was generous, caring and a very deep thinker. Some of his favorite things included rock music, concerts, sitting around the firepit, Nascar (devoted Earnhardt fan), and pizza. Our family will miss him deeply. Because Stephen was an organ donor it brings us peace knowing something positive will come from our loss and that his legacy will live on. Besides his mother he leaves his siblings; Anthony M. Chase, Patricia A. Dwyer, Andrew J. Chase, John E. Chase and Michaela A. Chase.

A visitation will be held Monday, February 5, 2018 5-7 pm with a service at 7:00 pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 146 Clifford Street, #1, Providence, RI 02903 would be appreciated.
