Marie A. (Zito) Ricci, 76, passed away Sunday, August 18,2019 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Ralph T. Ricci. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Frances (Olivo) Zito. Mrs. Ricci has been a Providence resident for over 50 years and worked for the AAI Foster Grant Company for over 25 years before retiring. Mrs. Ricci enjoyed the company of her dog Pepper. Marie spent years of her life selflessly caring for her family and always helped those around her. She was the heart of the family and loved spoiling her grandchildren and her grandogs who she loved so very much. It was the simple things in life that made her happy, whether it was watching Lifetime movies or going to the market every day or cooking the most amazing holiday meals.
Marie was the glue that held her family together. She will be forever in our hearts ….. “Love never Dies”.
She was the loving mother of Lisa M. Bianchi and her husband Ronald of Johnston, John Ricci and his wife Cynthia of Coventry and Thomas Ricci of Providence. Mrs. Ricci is also survived by 3 grandchildren Breana Damiani and her husband David, Gian Bianchi, Josh Bain and 1 great grand-daughter Kaiya Damiani.
Her funeral will be held Friday, August 23, 2019 at 8:30am from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt.44) Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip’s Church, 622 Putnam Ave., Greenville. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Thursday, August 22, 2019 from 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation, 249 Roosevelt Ave., Suite 201, Pawtucket, RI 02860 will be appreciated.
