Manuel C. Santos Obituary

Santos, Manuel C., 77, passed away Monday, August 18, 2014 at Home and Hospice Care of RI. He was the beloved husband of Rita (Turcone) Santos and a son of the late Manuel and Georgelina (Rocha) Santos. Mr Santos was employed as a meat cutter for Almac's and Dave's Market and was employed at the McDermott Pool. An outstanding soccer player, he was inducted into the Fox Point Hall of Fame. He was a Vietnam Army veteran. In addition to his wife, he survived by two daughters, Tanya DeFusco and Alison Dottor and her husband, Craig; four grandchildren, David DeFusco, Colin, Sophia, and Cameron Dottor. He was the brother of the late Edward Santos, Walter Santos, and Alice Furtado.

His funeral will be held Saturday, August 23, 2014 at 10 am from The Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Clement Church, Long Street at 11 am. Visiting hours Friday 4-8 pm.
