Kevin A. Oliver Obituary

Oliver, Kevin A., 59, passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at home after an illness. He was the beloved husband of Rita M. (Costa) Oliver for 42 years and a son of the late Calvin and Jettie (Mathias) Oliver. Kevin was employed as a grounds supervisor for the Warwick School Department for 35 years before retiring in 2008. He was an organizer of the Oakland Beach Cruise Night, past president of the Oakland Beach Assoc. and a member of the Oakland Beach Volunteer Fire Co. Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Kevin A. Oliver, Jr., Christopher M. Oliver and Joseph C. Oliver; two sisters, Nancy Russo and Linda Oliver; four brothers, Calvin, Roger, Dennis and David Oliver; eight grandchildren, Haley, Patrick, Morgan, Brendan, Maddison, Makenzey, Colin and Cody Oliver.

His funeral will be held Monday, September 29, at 9 am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Ave. at 10 am. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Lewy Body Dementia Assoc., 1733 Township Greene, Jamison, PA 18929, will be appreciated.
