Elena "Helen" (Micheletti) Cretella Obituary

Elena "Helen" (Micheletti) Cretella, 92, passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2018 in Naples, FL. She was the wife of the late Eugene Cretella. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Paolo and Maria Grazia (Turchetta) Micheletti. Mrs. Cretella was a member of the Mother Cabrini Society and the Columbiettes Auxiliary of Saint Peter the Apostle Church in Naples, FL. She had a beautiful singing voice, enjoyed cooking, reading and bowling.
She was the loving mother of Elaine M. Thornton (Robert), Susan G. Sartini (Larry Williams), Paul A. Cretella (Monique), Mary Ellen Toohey (Thomas) and the late Eugene G. Cretella (Janet). She was the sister of Anthony (Ida), Albert (Marie) and John (Brenda) Micheletti and the late Rosaria D’Amato, Maria Francesca Iodice, Paul and Vincent Micheletti. She was the sister-in-law of Florence (Cretella) Cedrone, Gloria (Cretella) Cookson, and Raffaela (Ascoli) Micheletti. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Her funeral will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 at 8:45am from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave., (Rt.44) Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am in St. Joseph's Church, 144 Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visitation Sunday, November 18, 2018 from 3-7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105 will be appreciated.
