Dennis J. Whalen, 71, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2020.He was the husband of the late Marjorie (Comire) Ayotte-Whalen. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late George and Rita (Cooney) Whalen.
Dennis served his country honorably in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He worked as a bartender for the former Club 44 in Smithfield for many years. Dennis was also the kitchen manager and member of the Elks Lodge #2359.
Dennis is survived by his siblings, William Whalen, Margaret Piecuch, and Maureen Regan.
His funeral will be private with burial in the RI Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter.
