Obituary

Deborah (Fleming) Charron, 84, passed away Tuesday December 15, 2020. She was the wife of the late Gerard J. Charron. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Bessie (Flaxington) Fleming.

Mrs. Charron has been a resident of Glocester since 1969 and was the owner of the Glocester Motor Inn and the Sunset Cove in Glocester before retiring.
She was an active member of The Church of Messiah in Foster RI, where she was actively involved in the Woman’s Group and met many lifelong friends before its closing, A member of Trinity Episcopal Church in North Scituate, the SOS Group of Trinity Church and the RI Genealogical Society.

She was the beloved mother of Janice Lowell of Glocester, step-mother of Deborah Gibson of Burrillville and the late Gerard J. Charron, Jr. She was the sister of Charles W. Fleming and the late Katherine Burling.
Mrs. Charron is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 2 step -grandchildren,10 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild. Deborah’s greatest love was of her family, who are comforted by many fond memories of a close family and many family gatherings,

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a Memorial Service will be announced at a later date, when it is safe for everyone to gather.
