Charles W. Birmingham, Jr. Obituary

Charles W. Birmingham, Jr., 85, of Cranston, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth A. “Betty” (Duff) Birmingham. They celebrated 62 years of marriage on May 12, 2018. He was born in Johnston, a son of the late Charles W. Birmingham, Sr. and the late Laura/Edith (Caparrelli) Birmingham. Charles worked for over 20 years at Electric Boat in Groton, CT. After he retired, he spent his days fishing, hunting and visiting all of his relatives. He also loved to read the comics.
In addition to his wife, he was the father of Ronald J. Birmingham of Cranston, Charles W. Birmingham, III and his wife Donna of West Warwick, Todd D. Birmingham and his wife Michelle of Coventry and Dawn E. Pizzo and her husband Joe of West Warwick. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, John Jr., Lisa, Charles IV and Alicia; and one great-grandson, Nathan of Texas. He was the brother of Lorraine Levesque of Johnston and the late Lawrence and Dale Birmingham.
His funeral will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 10am in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Home, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston. Visitation, Wednesday May 30, 2018 from 4-8pm.
