Beatrix H. Glover Obituary

Beatrix Helen Herlich Glover was born on Tuesday, October 21, 1919 in Glendale, Long Island, New York and baptized at the Bushwick Presbyterian Church of Peace in Brooklyn, New York. She was confirmed April 9, 1933 at the Ridgewood Presbyterian Church. She graduated from Grover Cleveland High school in Ridgewood, New York on January 27, 1937. On April 21, 1946 she married Stanley Elsworth Glover, the marriage taking place in Ridgewood, Queens, New York. They resided in Cranston, Rhode Island. Beatrix was a long-time member of Faith Lutheran Brethren Church in Cranston, Rhode Island. She had been a resident of Heath Village, Hackettstown, New Jersey since July, 2013. She passed away on November 2, 2020.

Preceeding her in death was her husband Stanley Glover, her parents George and Beatrix (Sauter) Herlich, brother-in-law John Crater, nephew Cordell Crater, great-nephew Christopher Crater, nephew-in-law Brian Jones and niece-in-law Barbara Crater.

Living are her sister Mildred Herlich Crater, nieces and nephews: John Crater, Marlane Jones, Candis (Walter) Berge, Jeffrey (Ann-Margret) Crater, Debbie Crater, Great nieces and nephews: Jill (Brian) Birckbichler, Robyn Jones, Stacey Crater, John (Sara) Berge, Adam(Andrea) Berge, Daniel (Meghan) Berge, Ben Crater, Alison Crater, Stephanie Crater, Jacqueline Crater; her husband’s nephew Donald Norberg and family and special friend Tom Baumann and family as well as many great-great nephews and nieces.

Funeral service Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 2 PM in the Faith Chapel, 43 Scituate Avenue, Cranston. She will be buried alongside her husband Stanley in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Face masks are required and social distancing will be observed. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Church will be appreciated.
