Barbara A. Brown Obituary

Barbara A. Brown, 85, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care in Providence. She was the wife of the late Charles H. Brown, Sr. and a daughter of the late Harold and Alice (O’Neil) Lamphere. Barbara is survived by her children, Charles H. Brown, Jr., Patricia Brown Knapton, and Stephen E. Brown; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Harold Lamphere and Patricia Alderman.

A visitation will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 from 10-11 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow in St. Rita Church, Oakland Beach Avenue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Hope Hospice & Palliative Care, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated. Face masks are required and social distancing will be observed.
