Bertrice L. (Waterman) Baker, 86, passed away Monday February 1, 2021 in Weatherford, TX. She was born in Johnston, a daughter of the late Ralph B. and Bertrice (McCauley) Waterman. Mrs. Baker was a receptionist for the RI State Employee Credit Union for 20 years before retiring in 1998. She also worked for the Home Front Home Care for the elderly for four years. She lived in North Scituate since 1966 before moving to Weatherford, TX.
She was the mother of Samuel S. Baker of Weatherford, TX, Bertrice I. Wood of Glocester, Susan C. Robinson of Callaway, FL and the late David L. Baker, Jr. She was the sister of Elizabeth J. Wetherbee, Neil H. McCauley, Calvin Waterman and the late Robert McCauley, Ralph B. Waterman, Jr., Author C. Waterman, Rachel Bottomely and Marjorie Tourtellote. She was the grandmother of Stephen S. Baker, Arron Wood, Matthew Wood and great-grandmother of Everly Baker.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday February 10, 2021 at 11am in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Chepachet.
